Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply to this website, the Datavit Metrics subscription and Datavit hardware.

Last updated: 26 August 2026

About these terms

These terms apply to your use of the datavit.com.au website, the Datavit Metrics subscription and any hardware supplied by Datavit Pty Ltd (ACN registered in Australia). Individual supply agreements, quotes and consulting engagements may add their own terms; where they conflict with this page, the signed agreement prevails.

Subscription and pricing

Datavit Metrics is billed at $50 AUD per month. There is no minimum term, no setup fee, and you may cancel at any time — access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. Hardware is sold separately at the prices quoted at the time of order, exclusive of GST.

Prices shown on this website are current at the time of publication and may change. A price we have quoted to you in writing is the one that applies to your order.

Agronomic advice and decision support

Datavit Metrics provides forecasts, disease risk indices, calculators and AI-generated recommendations. These are decision support tools, not guarantees. Weather forecasts are inherently uncertain, disease models express probability rather than certainty, and every vineyard differs.

You remain responsible for your own agronomic decisions, for complying with chemical label directions and withholding periods, and for meeting the regulatory obligations that apply to your operation. Always verify critical decisions against the product label and your own agronomic judgement.

Compliance records

The spray diary is designed to produce audit-ready records, but the accuracy of those records depends on what is entered. You are responsible for the completeness and accuracy of the data you record, and for retaining records for as long as your jurisdiction requires. We recommend exporting and keeping your own copies of critical compliance reports.

Hardware, availability and early access

Hardware specifications and availability may change. Products marked "early access" or "in development" — currently the GPS Tracker for tractors — are still in field validation: features may change, and they should not be relied on as the sole record of an operation. Field hardware depends on cellular coverage and solar exposure at your site.

Your data and intellectual property

You keep ownership of the vineyard data you enter and the readings your hardware produces; see our Privacy Policy for how we handle it. Datavit retains ownership of the platform, its models, calculators and designs, and of the content of this website.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our liability for any claim relating to the platform or hardware is limited to resupplying the service or replacing the goods, or paying the cost of doing so.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and the courts of Western Australia have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
